Ingredients:
1 kg Boneless Chicken, cut into small pieces (Shredded chicken be the best option),
3 Onion, chopped,
1 tsp turmeric powder,
1 tsp coriander seeds powder,
1 tsp red chilli powder,
2 tsp ginger-garlic paste,
1 cup fresh, thick curd,
1/2 tsp chicken masala or garam Masala,
3 tbsp ghee(butter),
5 badam(almonds) chopped,
10 Kaju(Cashewnut) chopped,
Lemon juice to taste,
Salt to taste,
Chopped coriander Leaves,
Water.
Method:
Beat the curd and mix turmeric powder and salt. Marinate the chicken pieces in this curd mixture for at least half an hour.
Heat ghee in a heavy bottom frying pan. Saute the onions along with the ginger-garlic paste until their color changes to light brown. Add red chilli powder and coriander powder and simmer for few minutes. Add the marinated chicken and fry for 5 minutes.
Add 2 cups of hot water and stir well. Cover and cook till chicken is tender and dry. Add chicken masala or garam masala and salt.
Mix all the dry fruits and garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot.
