It would be really nice of u if u also mention some where how much is 5gms or 150gms.What I simply mean is, reading measurements in terms of spoons and cups is lot easier to understand. Thank you.

Hi Dipti,
Thank you for your suggestion.
Most of the recipes featured on our website give their measurements in spoons or cups except a few and let me explain why. Firstly those ingredients that need to be purchased from the market as per the given measurements like paneer, chicken or meat or specific vegetable, etc are given in grams. Secondly, recipes for cakes, biscuits or any bakery product have to be prepared in given measurements and proportions only, else they go wrong. Hence ingredients like flour, sugar, baking powder, etc are mentioned in grams. Moreover sizes of spoons and cups differ in different kitchens. I am sure you will agree to this. I would also take in account your suggestion and mention the measurements in spoons and cups wherever possible.
Meanwhile if you need any explaination on any recipe please feel free to drop a comment.

Regards,
Minal
