Apple Crumble

Ingredients:
4 apples; peeled, cored and chopped*,
400g plain flour,
200g butter,
200g sugar,
2 tbsp dark brown sugar,
1 cup mixed fruits.

Method:
Mix together the flour and butter and using your hand rub them until they are of bread crumb consistency. Then add the granulated sugar to this mixture.
Now arrange the apples in a baking dish, sprinkle the mixed fruits and brown sugar over them evenly. Then top with the crumble mix and put in a 180 degrees C oven for 20 minutes or till it turns golden brown.
Can be served with custard, cream, ice cream, soufflé or mousse.

*Apply some lemon juice over the apples if you are cutting them much before preparing the recipe, to avoid them darkening.
