1 small head cabbage; shredded,
2 onions; chopped,
2 heaped tbsp besan (chickpea or gram flour)
1 small green chilli; finely chopped,
1/4 tsp turmeric powder,
1/2 tsp red chilli powder,
Salt to taste,
1/2 cup oil.
Heat oil in a kadhai(wok). Add onions, green chillies and saute on low flame for around 5 minutes. Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, mix well and add the cabbage, mix and cover with lid. Let the cabbage cook for around 5 minutes, uncover and stir occasionally. Then add gram flour, salt, mix and let it cook till it is fragrant and changes color to red. Let it become little crisp and then transfer to serving bowl. Serve with parathas and dal.
