Malai Chicken (Creamy Chicken)

Ingredients
700 gms Chicken pieces,
3 large onions,
2 tomatoes
Butter – 200 gm
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste,
6 badi ilaichi(cardamom),
2 dalchini(cinnamon),
6 laung(cloves)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder,
4 tsp chilli powder,
3 tsp coriander powder,
1 tsp Kasoori methi,
Salt to taste
25 gms cashew nuts (soaked in water for 30 minutes),
1/2 cup well beaten cream,
2 boiled eggs.
 

Method:
Marinate chicken with ginger-garlic paste,turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt for any time more than 30 minutes. Then cook them partly. Put tomatoes in hot water for 2 minutes then into cold water for 2 minutes, remove and peel away the skin.
Cut onions and fry it in oil, till it turns light brown in color. Make a paste of this tomato-onion and cashew nuts.
Heat butter in a pan, add dalchini(cinnamon), badi ilaichi(cardamom) and laung(cloves). Fry it for a minute and then add chicken pieces. Fry until chicken turns into golden brown colour. Add add tomato- onion paste and coriander powder and stir.
When chicken is cooked well,add salt and kasoori methi. Stir well and pour cream. Mix well and remove from fire.
Before serving add some more cream over it if you like and sprinkle grated egg over it.
