Methi Mutter (Fenugreek with green peas)
200 gms methi leaves(fenugreek leaves), coarsely chopped,
1 cup mutter(green peas),boiled,
1 large onion, chopped,
1 tsp chopped green chillies,
Salt to taste,
Oil for frying,
Fresh grated coconut to garnish.
In a kadhai(wok) heat oil, add onion and green chillies and fry well till the onion softens. Then add chopped methi(fenugreek leaves) mix well, cover with lid, pour some water on the lid and cook the methi for some time. When you find methi has changed its colour to dark green,add boiled peas and salt.Mix well and cook for around 15 minutes. Garnish with grated coconut.
