Paneer in Tomato gravy is a very simple and quick recipe. This recipe doesnot use any oil, just little butter and cream, but you can avoid that too, the recipe turns out very good and is very easy, ready in few minutes. So now you have unexpected guests for food, you can please them with this secret recipe. Take my word!!

Ingredients:
200gms paneer cubes,
3 tomatoes; quartered,
1 large onion,
1 green chilli,
2 small sticks of cinnamon (dalchini),
4-5 cloves of garlic,
3/4 tsp onion seeds (kalonji),
1 tsp butter,
2 tbsp cream,
Salt and sugar to taste.

Method:
Pressure cook onion, tomatoes, chilli, cinnamon and garlic cloves upto 3 whistles. Remove and grind to smooth paste. Melt butter in a pan, add kalonji, fry for a minute on low-medium flame and then add the ground sauce to it. Cook this sauce uncovered for 2 minutes and then cover and cook for 5-7 minutes. Uncover and stir occasionally. When the sauce is nice red in color add salt and sugar to taste, stir and add paneer cubes and cover till it boils (on low flame). Garnish with some cream, stir and serve hot with parathas.
