Paneer Tikka Masala

Ingredients:

250gms paneer, cut into cubes,

2 tsp ginger-garlic paste,

2 green chilies, finely chopped,

3 tbsp chopped coriander,

5 tsp lemon juice,

1 tsp red chili powder,

2 tbsp. vegetable oil

2 onions, thinly sliced,

¼ tsp turmeric powder

3-4 tbsp thick yoghurt,

½ cup milk,

Salt to taste.

Finely chopped coriander leaves to garnish.

Method:

In a mixing bowl, mix together ginger-garlic paste,green chili, half of the coriander, chili powder, salt and lemon juice. Add paneer to this paste and marinate for an hour.

In a pan, heat some oil and saute sliced onions for some time on low flame till they turn transparent. Add turmeric powder, yoghurt, milk and the remaining coriander and stir for a few minutes till the sauce thickens.

Add the paneer mixture in the sauce and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame. Serve hot garnished with fresh coriander with parathas or rice.
