Sweet Corn Vegetable Soup

Ingredients:
150gms fresh sweet corn seeds,
1 carrot; finely diced,
1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage,
2 sprigs of spring onion; chopped,
1 tbsp garlic paste,
1 tsp sugar,
1 tsp green chilli sauce,
1 tsp soy sauce,
2 tbsp corn flour,
8 cups vegetable stock or water,
Butter,
Salt and pepper to taste.

Method:
Boil the sweet corn and par boil carrots and cabbage. Heat butter in a pan and saute the spring onions and garlic paste. Then add sweet corn, carrots and cabbage ans cook for 2 minutes. Add stock or water, salt, sugar, chilli sauce and mix well. Let it boil. Dissolve the corn flour in 1 cup water. Add this paste to the soup and stir continuously till it thickens. Stir in soy sauce and remove from flame. Season with pepper and serve.
