Ingredients:
For Dough-
1 cup maida (sieved wheat flour),
1 tbsp oil,
1/4 tsp salt,
Water.

For stuffing-
1 medium size onion, finely chopped,
5-6 mushrooms, finely chopped,
1 carrot, grated or finely chopped,
2 cups shredded cabbage,
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste,
2 green chillies, finely chopped,
Salt and pepper to taste,
Oil for frying.

For hot chilli sauce-
5 dry red chillies(Kashmiri), deseeded and soaked in warm water for 30 minutes.
8-10 cloves garlic,
1 tsp coriander seeds,
1 tbsp oil,
1/2 tsp salt,
3 tbsp vinegar,
1/2 tsp soy sauce.

Method:
Sift flour with salt. Add oil and knead with water, to make a dough of rolling consistency.
Heat some oil in a wok (kadhai), add onion, saute till it turns transparent. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies. Then add chopped or grated carrots and cook for 2 minutes. Then add cabbage and mushrooms, mix well and cook for further  3 minutes. Add salt and pepper and remove from flame.
Make small balls and roll small puris or rounds of about 3″ and then cut the edges to form a square. Put a spoonful of stuffing inside, and join two corners to form a triangle. Then press all the corners to seal the wonton. Now join the other two corners together to form a small bulged triangle. Similarly make all the wontons.
To fry heat oil in a wok and fry on medium flame till they turn golden. You can also boil these wontons.
For the sauce, grind the soaked chillies along with some water and all the other ingredients except soy sauce. Add soy sauce later as per taste.
Serve vegetable wontons with hot chilli sauce.

TIP:
You can use wonton sheets instead of the dough, these would save your time and give you recipe the oriental touch.
